Do you want to involve consumers in your research and would like some help to get started?

This one-day workshop has been developed in direct response to researcher enquiries about practical ways to involve consumers and community members in their research.

The aims of this interactive workshop are to:

  • Increase awareness of the value of consumer and community involvement
  • Develop understanding and skills on the ‘how and why’ of implementing involvement
  • Identify and address the barriers to consumer and community involvement
  • Provide information about resources and other sources of help to support consumer and community involvement

You will learn from researchers and community members with first-hand experience of consumer and community involvement in research.

Cost: Free for UWA and Telethon Kids Institute staff and students, costs may apply to others

Workshop materials, morning and afternoon tea provided.
