Consumer and community involvement has bought many benefits to health research and services. Understanding why people become involved and why they continue their involvement is helpful in planning and supporting future consumer and community involvement.

The Consumer and Community Health Research Network want to hear about why you became involved as a consumer or community member in health research or health services. Please tell us why you commit your valuable time by completing a short survey, which closes on 20th June 2018

Interviews for 'Why do people become involved?'

We plan to interview a small group of consumers and community members to gain more indepth information about being involved in health research and health services. The interviews will take approximately 30 minutes and will be conducted in person, by phone or face time at a time and place that is suited to you.

I understand I need to be either a current member of a committee in a health research organisation in Western Australia, or a member on a Consumer Advisory Committee at one of Western Australia’s tertiary hospitals (e.g., Fiona Stanley, Sir Charles Gairdner, Royal Perth, King Edward or Perth Children’s Hospitals) to participate in this study.
